We scour the web in search of web sites that have accessible video for our innertoob player. Sad to say, there just aren’t many video sites that let users have their .flv video files outside of the proprietary Flash players. I guess I understand why; user content is the fuel that drives these engines and attracts advertisers to the site, but come on, are you just interested in making a buck, or do you think that the owner/creator of the content might like to have a say in how he or she gets to use their own videos?
Thankfully, we didn’t have to search very far for this incredible site, which has a needed emphasis on video bloggers, or vloggers.

Blip.tv is a video sharing web site, and I am VERY impressed with the spirit of the community I found there. I am excited to see the possibilities such a site will generate, and I think that they understand the future of user-generated content. Please check it out, and if you are a video blogger, just grab your .flv direct permalink and head on over to innertoob.com. I’d love to see us build this emerging vlogging community together with our respective tools.

By the way, here’s a TOOB of a great video from the site, posted by Blip.tv user Completely Known. Rock on, you guys.
